At the moment, the Smallholder Agriculture Market Support (SAMS) running under Resilience Building (RB) project, which is running smoothly under normal conditions, consists of supporting farmers and agriculture, the need to sell their yielded products in the market is more noticeable. The mentioned project, which was launched on September 10, 2022 in Bagrami, Paghman PD20th, PD8th & PD18th, the training was started in the area such as; Post Harvesting, Solar Drier, kitchen garden and irrigation management, which has about 300 beneficiaries, including 260 women and about 40 men are took widest participation. Actually, all trainees need the best training to sell their products and convert them into second alternatives to stop spoilage. Fortunately, all the women expressed their happiness to participate in this program and received a warm welcome for their support. Male participants in the field of irrigation management also received major trainings for water wastage and their management. About 300 beneficiaries will participate in this program, which is planned for six consecutive months

On march 8,2023,ON international women’s day, WFP held a one day exhibition of domestic products, handicrafts, decoration item in Kabul which FCDO also participated. Women displayed their handmade products in exhibition held in Kabul. At exhibition, FCDO exhibited products (Fruit Jam, Pickle and Tomato paste and etc.) made by women, one of the projects in which it supports women to sell their handmade products in the market who were welcomed and praised by the WFP because all of our products are made by women Some female entrepreneurs said that holding such an exhibition is important to motivate women to display or sell their handmade products in the market. All of the organizers and participants of the exhibitions are women who came from various Organizations to display their products. The most visitors of this exhibition are also women. They called on the citizens to use the domestic products in order to support domestic entrepreneurs. The March 8 exhibition aimed to address those restrictions and give hope to women and girls while displaying their talents
Distribution of agricultural equipment to vulnerable female families begins
Today , Apr 29, FCDO distributed 14 agricultural equipment to 40 vulnerable female families , funded by the World Food Programme (WFP) in The 20th District of Kabul .
SAMS Project, First the women 's families were trained in different fields of agriculture for nine months with the cooperation of friends community development organization , and as a result of this training ,today 14 items of agricultural equipment were distributed to them .
It should be noted that 14 items of kitchen gardening were distributed including different equipment , and in equipment and processing machines including solar driers machines for fruits and vegetables , and this distribution process is ongoing In Kabul 8, 18 , Bagrami and Paghman districts which 90 families will have kitchen gardening equipment and 30 other families will have solar driers machines , as well as Chahar Asiab , Bagrami , Paghman,18 and 8 districts will also distribute 21 items of Fruit Jam, Pickle and Tomato paste Making equipment to 140 vulnerable female families.
